Graduated in Law from Università degli Studi di Pavia. Registered with the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milano (Milan) since 1993. Registered with the Register of Statutory Auditors since 1995. Listed on the Roll of Court-Appointed Technical Consultants (CTU) at the Tribunal of Milan and on the Roster of Experts for inspection mandates at trust companies and trust and audit companies (Ministerial Decree of June 18, 1993).
From 2000 to 2018 he was founding partner of Studio Sala Riva & Associati. Since 2019 he has continued his professional practice on an individual basis. In 2020 he founded the Goffredo Sala association — a research center for professionals that fosters and promotes economic and legal scholarship through scientific publications, conferences, and webinars. Since 2023 he has been equity partner of Montesino, a corporate and strategic advisory boutique.
Over the years he has focused on advising companies and entrepreneurs on contractual matters and on the establishment and management of branches of foreign multinationals, business acquisitions, and the drafting and execution of commercial, industrial, and corporate joint ventures.
He has held positions on corporate boards of directors and statutory bodies, as well as on supervisory bodies of listed and unlisted companies — including Deutsche Bank Mutui S.p.A., Dewalt Industrial Tools S.p.A., Veneziani S.p.A. Vernici Marine ed Industriali, S.I.C.O. Società Italiana Carburo Ossigeno S.p.A., Black & Decker Italia S.r.l., and Daicolor Italy S.r.l.
Since January 2023 he has served as sole auditor at T-Invest S.r.l., Fiveflowers S.r.l., Snow Peak S.r.l., and Lina S.r.l.
